I am a versatile full stack web developer with 20 years of experience in development, design, front-end development, QA testing, and content management. Highly self-motivated with experience managing complex projects. My recent focus is on Drupal development, hobby C++ development, and Raspberry Pi projects.
I also run a small business, Pacheco Studios, where I develop and manage custom websites for small, local businesses. I built this website to re-imagine what a social media profile feed might look like as well as showcase my interests and my work. It is custom-built using WordPress, AngularJS, PHP, and Jquery.
Godzilla – Criterion Collection Blu Ray Covers
The Godzilla: Showa-Era Films, 1954-75 is a great collection by Criterion. It has some awesome artwork and some great, high-definition transfers of the first 15 Godzilla movies. The only problem, in my mind. Is that all the discs are housed in a large booklet with cardboard sleeves embedded in the page. As a guy with… View Article

3D-Printing: Jenn-Air Knobs
My parents have a beautiful Jenn-Air stovetop as part of their custom ‘hand-made’ kitchen. Some of the knobs were missing, but most had broken, or even partially melted. My mother complained that they broke frequently and were expensive to replace. It was, therefore, my duty to provide them with a suitable and cheap alternative if… View Article

While setting up a Minecraft java server is relatively easy – all you need is an Internet connection, java, UEALA… View Article

No new updates in some time, but as usual, that does not mean I have not been busy. Aside from attending karate classes with my kids, I had the stupid idea sometime in mid-2020 to completely replace Google for my IT and smart-home needs. While, there is an inkling of anti-establishment thinking in my decision,… View Article

Custom Walker Nav with WooCommerce using Product Category Images
I recently had a need to create a custom, three level navigation in WordPress. The navigation is designed to work with WooCommerce, pulling a product category image from the associated category menu item, and displaying it when the user hovers over the third-level category. Walker Classes are a well-documented way to customize your navigations within… View Article

Sislers Stone Website Launch
I recently had the pleasure of working with Sislers Stone to completely rebuild and redesign their website from scratch. Using a combination of WordPress and WooCommerce, I delivered to them a fully responsive website that I am very proud to say was released over the weekend. The theme contains many custom elements which allows the… View Article

Angular and Pizza
I recently started working with AngularJS and have found it to be pretty powerful tool for creating dynamic and interactive webpages. One of my little projects involves a random pizza toppings selector, so I decided to take the PHP version I built a few years ago, translate it to Angular, and make some improvements. For… View Article
