I’ve been insanely busy over the weekend redesigning some aspects of my Portfolio website. Nothing has been uploaded yet, but I can say that it looks great! I’m currently testing out a flash version of my navigation and comparing it to an html/javascript version. Lots of new button designs and such. I’m working all the bugs out and testing different aesthetic approaches with both. Here’s a tiny sneak peak:
I’ve also been working on concept art for a video game I’m designing with my hackin’ buddy, Mike Fillalan. I’m not allowed to show any of that yet, but I can show off some of my other drawings.
The first is a pencil drawing of an old VW Beetle drawn to the scale of a Red-Eyed tree frog (2 inches) No matter how I scanned or photographed it, it always came out looking very grainy and bold, but I can assure you the lines are, in fact, very sharp, and it looks great in person. It looks more accurate if you resize it so that the full image is about 6×6″:
The second is a tree frog I drew on a 4’x4′ piece of paper. I’m still workin’ on this one, but I like it so far:
Tell me what ya think. Comments, critiques, suggestions always welcome.
